South University’s Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies will equip you with the necessary training, education, and relevant experience to help you be successful in this important role, as well as put you on a path toward earning you Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a combination of specialized coursework and an externship in a legal setting such as a law firm, real estate company, bank, or federal government agency. Working under the supervision of a licensed attorney, students will perform tasks such as interviewing clients and witnesses or preparing legal documents in preparation for real cases.
